First and foremost, we are here to offer guitar instructions and/or outside links to sources to help you learn faster, no matter the style! We offer several resources, such as, getting you guitar lessons dvd, rock guitar instructions, we’ll even help you out while you learn guitar chords.

We’ve even got some resources for your kids guitar needs.All through this, we’ll be blogging our own progress as well. We’re not saying we’ve got it all, but we’d like to think that we’re pretty darn close…

You know who I’m talking about. Those guys or girls who spend all their money on music, going to see band shows, and new instruments, and they sleep on a cot or something like that.

I lived in my van while I traveled around playing music for a little while, and I can assure you – it was as tiring as you’d think it would be. A van doesn’t exactly give you the best sleep, and not being able to shower also kinda makes you feel icky an d tired.

I had to quit every band I was in – they weren’t okay with going around playing shows in a van for 2 months straight.

Everyone wants to talk about how they want to play music or how dedicated they are, but when they get the chance to put that dedication to the test – they normally fail.

So, how do you find dedicated band members?

Well, look. Open your eyes.

First, see who’s GOOD. That shows they’re at least dedicated to practice.

Second, ask them what they’ve done. If they’ve been in bands that actually got to the recording processes, or they’ve played a decent amount of shows, they’re at least dedicated enough to get that far.

Then, I like to screen them. I tell them the story of me playing while living in my van. If they react good or say, “I’d love to do that,” Then they’re keepers, definitely.

In the end, you’ll go through 100s of undedicated people before you find those who are actually dedicated to making music.

Today’s lesson is about picking out the right virtual acoustic guitar lessons to learn from.

There is a ton of crap out there online, and often, they want you to pay for it! That’s a laugh out loud in some cases(Although in certain cases, you get what you pay for).

So, what are the three things you should look for as you’re looking for virtual guitar lessons online?

1) Easy to follow along

This is a huge one. Often, I’ve seen online guitar instructions that are just too hard for beginners to follow, and it’s a shame because the lessons are actually really good.

2) They must offer some actual value and substance

I’ve seen tons of new guitar players start tutorial sites in order to help push themselves to learn guitar. Sorry, it doesn’t work like that. It’s like the blind leading the blind.

3) If they cost money, they must deliver enough to make up for the price

I’ve seen $250 lessons where you only get a few lessons. Man, that’s what I call overpriced!

I’ve been getting back into playing my acoustic guitar lately, so in light of that, I’m going to make 20-25 guitar tutorials. I’ll start with simple finger exercises and then go into picking routines, chords, scales, and songs.

Advanced guitar lessons. What sets advanced guitar lessons apart from easy guitar lessons? Simple.

Advanced guitar lessons are the basics, but done in a way that gives you an idea on how to make your own music and how to do it more technically, faster, better, etc. While easy guitar lessons take the basics and give you a firm foundation for learning them so that have a good foundation for more advanced techniques.

But don’t take that to mean that you don’t need the beginner guitar instructions to get to the advanced guitar lessons. If you want a strong house, you need a good foundation.

So, what’s a good foundation for your advanced guitar lessons?

Scales. Chords. Intervals. Slow, precise, dedicated practice. That’s all there really is to getting good.

If you really want to step your game up,  do the 21 day challenge.

The 21 day challenge is basically where you practice as slow as possible every day for 21 days, as long as you practice precisely and correctly. I’ve seen people go from intermediate to extremely skilled from this alone, and yes, I’m *very* serious. Just take 1 song that you like and practice your guitar instructions as slow as you can go with your metronome for 30 minutes a day. Do that for 21 days and come back and just try to tell me it didn’t help.

Advanced guitar lessons, honestly, are not as far out of your range as you’d like to think they are. In fact, they’re right where you’re at, and they’re not hard to get. Guitar Instructions HQ signing out.

We figured we’d redeem ourselves by making our Jamorama review in 3 parts and will make sure you understand when you download virtual guitar lessons by Jamorama.

So, what does Jamorama REALLY come with that makes it so interesting?

Well, as you probably know, Jamorama tops the majority of virtual guitar lessons and puts them to shame with each of its several components.

It comes with its own Jamorama metronome which in and of itself is worth several times the cost of Jamorama.

It comes with the ear training(honestly this is worth around $300, which is around 10x the price of the entire jamorama package itself).

There was one thing that I didn’t like about Jamorama, though. The lessons can at times be hard to follow if you’re an ABSOLUTE newbie and have no idea how to even strum with a guitar.

But other than that, it’s wonderfully easy to follow along with and it’s like having your own personal guitar instructions teacher there with you, in virtual guitar lessons form.

The book is called “blues you can use.” One thing that the name says, is that this is blues guitar instruction that you can use. One thing this book is NOT, however, is an everything-you-need to know about blues guitar instruction. Does that mean this book is full of fluff or useless? Absolutely not! In fact, this book probably teaches you more about blues than you’ll ever need to know anyway(Unless you happen to be in a traveling blues band, haha!)

This book is for a blues player who hasn’t much of an idea of blues guitar, but wants to jump right on in and play all the fun and cool blues guitar stuff. The instructions offered in this book definitely will help you with that.

The book contains a comprehensive guide to playing both the lead AND rhythm guitar. It’s got several covers of several famous songs, mainly of blues and rock and roll guitar. It includes over 20 solos, several chord progressions and riffs, has turnarounds, and many other things.

This product will take you from being able to play your favorite songs and even coming up with a few of your own, to making all your friends jealous at how good you’ve gotten at guitar.

It’s a guitar learning software called eMedia Guitar Master, and it’s got to be the best thing since sliced bread. It comes with a chord dictionary, a digital recorder, a digital metronome and an automatic tuner. Each of these seperately cost around the same price(often more, actually!) than how much this software is being offered for. In my opinion, it’s like stealing.

So, what else comes with this software that will take you from good to great and qualifies it to be called advanced guitar lessons?

It comes with over 100 lessons, and over a hundred songs you can learn ranging from every style of music you can think of. You ever want to play guitar hero songs? You’re in luck, they’re all covered here. It won’t be long till you’re rocking the heck out after you get this thing. It teaches movable power chords, barre chords, using effects pedals to their maximum(comes with sound effects for you to see how things change after you record your guitar with the FREE digital recorder), yanks, hammer-ons, pull-offs, palm muting, distorted riffs, blues scales, using feedback, using the whammy bar(this is actually the first course I’ve found that actually teaches how to use the whammy bar), and tons of other things.

Personally, I think they could sell this set of advanced guitar lessons for at least three times the price that they’re offering it here at amazon.
